Stout vs. Stephens UFC 113
UFC’s coming back to the Bell Centre, in Montreal, Canada for UFC 113 on May 8, marking the third straight year UFC has visited the venue.
And boy do they have a great looking card. Canadian fans should be especially revved up for the return of their Ontario boy: Lightweight sensation, “Hands of Stone” Sam Stout, as he takes on the “Lil’ Heathen” Jeremy Stephens. Stephens hails from San Diego, California. So reminiscent of Stouts debut UFC fight, it’s Canada vs. the USA on May 08 2010.
Both men have very similar records. Jeremy Stephens is 15-5, while Stout has the minor advantage at 16-5. Stout is also on a 2-win streak, while Stephens has only just begun to gain momentum with a 1-win streak. This should be one heck of a slugfest as both men know a thing or two about demolishing their opponents with strikes and both are evenly match in all UFC lines. Sam Stout dazzled in kickboxing with a 16-4 record, while Jeremy Stephens won the honor of “Knockout of the night” twice in his UFC career. Sam Stout specializes in Muay Thai and Kickboxing – Jeremy Stephens experts lie in Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing.
On a night where Lyoto Machida and Mauricio Rua battle it out in the main event for the Lightheavyweight championship of the world, this lightweight battle on the undercard could easily steal the show. There’s no telling what kind of havoc will go down when these two duke it out for country pride and a possible shot at the lightweight championship!
